Sydney day 11

Coffee, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo Reserve, Jazz pub, Botanical Gardens home then out for Dinner on Bondi!

Turned out to be busier day than expected! After the usual coffee and fantastic Foccacia BLT at Hollys (Ying had “Winter rice porridge” in the heat) we headed into town for more coffee (original destination closed) but picked up a decent iced latte anyway! Promenaded along Darling Harbour (no relation to Grace Darling as we wondered), round Barabgaroo Reserve with veiws across to where Lulu works and SHB, then around via The Rocks to the Botanical Gardens

However on our wandering we were distracted by some jazz music drifting down a street, and tempted, found live jazz quartet playing in the Hero of Waterloo pub, where we tried Lemon/Lime bitters and it really made the day!

From the Botanical Gardens we circled round to Mrs Macquarie Chair looking back across the bay

So, good company, coffee, jazz and dinner still to come. What more could you want
