Today John and Lulu working, (Johns first day in ITU) so we started with trip into Bondi Junction for coffee and half an egg bacon and cheese roll (lesson learnt!)
2nd coffee at “Nook” not so good…
Then walked to Bondi Beach which tbh sounds more exotic than it was. Sydney has good pedestrian paving but then you share with (mostly electric) bikes travelling at high speed, and pedestrian crossings that take an age to change to pedestrian priority for about 5 seconds! Oh well, we’re learning 🙂
Bondi beach was lovely but surprisingly short (or not miles long as I’d imagined)
The Bondi Iceberg seawater pools where Lulu swam a few days earlier were still under repair where a big storm had damaged the glass panel surrounds
