Off to Coogee. We took the bus down to Bondi Beach and found a very nice coffee at AKT cafe. Had bacon and egg bagel, good, and an egg and chorizo bagel (but the chorizo was more like a frankfurter…) disappointing
Bondi Beach itself was quieter but more “surfy” and swimming was not allowed though surfers were enjoying the breakers
We then set off on 7km walk along the coast into a strong headwind. The coastal path was lovely and varied from headland to various coves and beaches along the way…
It turned out to be a lovely walk but with the fairly brisk winds and undulating path we were glad to arrive at Coogee
At Costicogee we had a great mixed grilled fish and chips with Pacific Dory, Prawns, calamari and octopus which was really tender and delicious, the picture doesn’t do the taste justice!
Took the bus back to Bondi Junction and I cooked clay pot chicken rice for supper.
