Today started with coffee at Lulus local coffee shops again on way to Coles supermarket then again (take-home) coffee on the way back heehee
We the set off north to Kuringai National Park about an hour away and what seemed like a modest 5k walk down to the coast and back but with a not so modest 200m descent and ascent! 2.5hrs later we fell back into the car!!!
It comprised an initial detour to see the red hands cave of prehistoric art (not well captured on camera) and then stone carving on flat rock outcrops. It was surprising the lack of protection provided, being quite easy to touch or walk over them

Thence along a winding gravel track and down steep concrete steps that tempted you down but betrayed the ascent later…

The ascent was mostly rough path with intermittent scrambling over rocky outcrops which was longer, less steep but harder/more irregular
Eventually we arrived back at the road seeing wild turkeys and good views across the bay

For supper I had deep fried king prawns and chips (surprisingly filling!) and Captain America:Winter Soldier
