Early morning visit to Taj Mahal, (photos unfortunately suffer from the permanent haze presently). Clearly despite the haze, amazing place, architecture and views. What else to say?

The Oberoi for lunch in case you wondered, excellent buffet type selection of classic Indian (and international) dishes. Highlights, chicken curry – flavoursome but not too hot, fresh naan, Dahl, hand selected chaat salad, puy lentel salad ,and ALL the puddings!!! though Sally wasn’t taken by the candied pumpkin and Petha
At The Oberoi (in the No 1 hotel in India), couple next table ordered hamburger and sandwiches with fries! Didn’t catch their accents!
