Day 10 Pushkar

Woke early to sounds of horns tooting, and cows mooing in centre of town

Revived by two pots of coffee and bowls of yoghurt and fruit (and Nutella and banana pancakes)

Our accommodation for the next 5 days…

Now off out to explore…and out to the market

A sacred cow with an extra pair of legs!

No photos though of when I turned round in the crowded market to find a man taking a cobra out of a basket – a bit of a surprise…

A classic Royal Enfield
View from Mama’s Cafe

Views around the lake and the bathing ghats

Because of the camel fair, each ghat steps were illuminated by hundreds of candles

And then because we felt India wasn’t manic enough…

Finished day 1 of 5 vegetarian days here in Pushkar with a lovely Rajastani vegetarian thali including Ladoo (and Bindi which Ying loved)
