Our introduction to camels began at what I think might be originally the polo ground, with the Camel Decorations Competition. Basically putting as much bling as possible on a camel
However, after the competition ended, the judging panel announced the three winners, but the third placed owner got very agitated and “appealed the decision”. This led to many policemen becoming involved and an hour long exchange of opinions!!! Eventually the three were awarded their places but to be honest I’m none the wiser
We stayed to watch the next event, Camel Dancing, but left after 2 camels as it wasn’t as appealing as it sounds…
Finished the day with aloo paratha and paneer koftas and bindi, and ladoo with more Lassi which was lovely. Gary had a local cheese sandwich and Sally a Thali
