Coffee and Culture
We started the day going to Toby Estates coffee Shop at Victoria Park (Chippendale) which was voted top in the 100 best coffee shops in the world…
After an inevitable (but shortish) queue the shop was suitably trendy with baristas working on islands beside you rather than behind counters etc
Coffee – very nice but (given a bit of nasal congestion) not at a different level to good coffee elsewhere (or at home!!!) Which was in a way reassuring. Had their house blend Woolloomooloo flat white then tried the Panna Cotta blend. Preferred the former
We had fruit loaf, pancakes, and cucumber on bagel, of which the bagel was standout partly as it was unexpected!

There after off to the Australia Museum (natural history and First Nations, then onto the Barracks Museum (audio guided tour) around the convicts arriving in Australia (surprisingly over a mere 20 years or so. Certainly recommend the latter
