Tipping down today but travelling to Guangzhou by train so not a real issue
Although anxious about taxi ride in the rain it was fine. You could tell he really wanted to overtake on blind corners but turned out to be quite restrained in the end
As we travelled south fields turned to padi, then miles of fish/prawn farms

First travel fail of the trip…. Put in correct destination in Didi, but taken to a hotel 2 miles away. Compensation was that their receptionist was very helpful, gave us fruit tea and ordered a new taxi
At our correct hotel, we’re told via translator app, we had an “elegance toothpaste room with no window” we declined the upgrade and found we did have a window. No spearmint aroma though
